In February 2016, fifteeen businesses in the Victoria Falls & Hwange National Park area participated in a pilot.  The thirteen founding members of Green Tourism in Zimbabwe were presented with their award at a cermony at the Outlook Cafe, Victoria Falls by Ms. F.R Nhekairo the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry on 2nd March 2016.
