As the North of Scotland’s largest Conference Centre, we host over 600 events and welcome around 300,000 visitors annually.

AECC and Aberdeen are very accessible with great transport links to this historic and successful city, and to some of Scotland’s finest scenery and heritage!
AECC’s journey towards a sustainable business has engendered a new culture, strategy and way of thinking at the venue, whilst future-proofing the business, innovating and demonstrating leadership in the UK events and meetings industry, as well as in the local area. In 2015, we achieved Event Sustainability ISO20121 certification.
The range of events the Venue can accommodate are very wide-ranging and include:

Getting here… from Europe and the rest of the world.
Aberdeen International Airport – just a short drive away – has a growing network of flights to and from many cities across the UK and northern Europe.
There are frequent services to the key global hubs of London, Amsterdam and Paris. So getting here from justabout anywhere in the world isn’t a problem.
Getting here… from elsewhere in the UK
Aberdeen International Airport has a busy schedule of flights to over 20 destinations across the UK.
There are regular rail services between Aberdeen and Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and London – and many points in between.
Similarly, there are national bus services linking Aberdeen to major cities throughout the UK.
Ferry services operate between the city and the Orkney and Shetland Islands.
Getting here… from within Aberdeen
AECC sits right next to the A90 trunk road so getting here by car from the city centre or further afield is a simple option.
We’re only a ten-minute taxi ride from Aberdeen railway and bus stations in the city centre.
We’re located on the Red and Pink line local bus routes (service numbers 1, 2 and 13) and the nearest bus stop is only a short walk way.
A dedicated on-site Park and Ride facility (service number X40) offers fast and regular weekday bus services to and from the city centre – every 15 minutes at peak times.

The options don’t end there. In partnership with First, we offer a special Gig‘n’Go service at selected concerts if you fancy a drink on the big night out.
Gig’n’Go costs £3 for a single journey and £5 for a return (a special family ticket can be purchased to allow 2 adults and 2 children a return journey for only £10).
