Ferry Row B&B
10 Ferry Row
Ferry Row B&B is ʻa house with its feet in the waterʼ right on the seafront in the picturesque village of Fairlie. Just 3 miles south of Largs, Fairlie has a long tradition of accommodating summer visitors and holidaymakers, and we continue to enjoy the company of guests in our home at any time of year.
Here you will find peace and quiet, a comfortable room, a quality breakfast and a beautiful view – a place for reflection or a base for activity.
As befits a seaside cottage, Ferry Row B&B is simple, cosy and comfortable: no TV – just gaze at the view and listen to the sea, the herring gulls, the blackbirds – and get away from it all . . . . . . . . .
So if you are looking for a quiet, friendly B&B in Ayrshire, this is for you.

For finding and parking at Ferry Row B&B
Fairlie has its own station and is well served by the Glasgow to Largs trains, with connections at Kilwinning for Ayr and Stranraer and at Paisley for Glasgow Airport.
We are happy to collect you from the station which is roughly a 5 minute walk. There are no taxis at the station.
The A78 passes through Fairlie: on reaching the traffic lights in the middle of the village, (there is only the one set, and only one way to turn!) turn into the ‘Causeway’ and down towards the sea.
Before you land on the beach, turn right into ʻKelburn Terraceʼ and half-way along that bumpy lane youʼll see a white gate on your left with a small blue plate saying ʻ10 Ferry Rowʼ. Turn immediately left into the private parking area. Come through the gate in the picket fence and follow the path to the door.
