Scot Mountain Holidays
Boat of Garten
Andy and Rebecca are keen walkers, mountain bikers and organic gardeners who are lucky enough to have turned their passion for Scotland and the outdoors into a business.
They are aware of their environmental responsibilities and keen to pay their part in preserving the area which is key to attracting visitors to the area.
The Lodge has 7 bedrooms, mostly twins. 3 en suite bathrooms have recently been installed. Different areas of the Lodge can be divided off for families so you have your privacy without having to cram together in one room.
There is an open fire in the lounge; a biomass boiler fueling the radiators and a wood burning stove in the dining room. The Lodge is comfortably furnished and informative guest folders have been put in all the rooms along with a walk/cycle information folder which resides in the lounge.
Public train service to Aviemore, our closest station. The local bus service to Boat of Garten is no.34 or alternatively you can take the steam train or walk along the Speyside Way (approx 2 hours on foot or 1 hour by bike, with children).
