Hoe Grange Holidays
Hoe Grange Holidays offers 4 award winning self-catering log cabins and 2 luxury glamping pods on a working farm in the spectacular Derbyshire Peak District countryside. Close to Chatsworth, Carsington Water, and Dovedale, Hoe Grange is an ideal base for outdoor activities with wonderful walks from the doorstep.
All the cabins and pods are superbly equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday experience; a real home from home.
A warm welcome awaits including little extras; from delicious homemade bread, and our own free range eggs, to gorgeous eco-friendly toiletries.
The log cabins are kept cosy and warm with ground source heating and electricity is generated using a 10kw wind turbine and an innovative sun tracking PV solar system.
Hipley, Rainster and Daisybank log cabins all sleep 4 guests, with one double bedroom and one large twin bedroom which has a spacious ensuite wet room shower. For that added touch of luxury the second family bathroom has a double ended whirlpool bath.
Pinder cabin is slightly larger and sleeps 6 guests in 2 double bedrooms, (one with large ensuite shower), and 1 twin bedroom. The family bathroom also has a double ended whirlpool bath.
Light and airy the open plan kitchens have a double oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, and food processor. Alternatively if you want a break from the cooking, treat yourself to delicious ready meals and puddings, sourced and created from local produce.
Each cabin has a roomy lounge with LCD TV and DVD and stereo, which leads directly onto the spacious outdoor decking, so you can make the most of the spectacular limestone scenery and watch the farm animals. There is a garden area with BBQ and fire pit and a Swedish log-fired hot tub – with such dark skies you can really see the stars!
The gorgeous glamping pods sleep 2 with amazing views from your pillow. The open plan main room has a kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge and sink. There is a comfortable sofa that pulls out to a King size bed. The ensuite bathroom has a large double shower. Cosy with everything you need for a relaxing romantic break.
No need to overload the car; all electricity, heating, bed linen, towels, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, tea towels etc are provided. Cots, highchairs and extra access equipment available on request.
We welcome dogs and cats in Hipley, Pinder & Rainster cabins and Swallow pod, and have stabling and grazing for guests to bring their own horses on holiday.
Walking & cycling:
With footpaths and trails from the doorstep explore the countryside using our maps and route planners of the local area. We also supply puncture repair kits, washing facilities and secure bike storage.
Our log cabins have been carefully designed for less able guests, with ramped access, level thresholds throughout, and wide doorways, and are rated under the National Accessible Scheme. We offer a wide range of specialist equipment and we are proud to be the first UK holiday accommodation to offer hire of a Boma 7 off-road wheelchair so you can trek across the farm fields and local trails alongside family and friends.
We cater for everyone, whether you’re a family with young children, a couple looking for a romantic retreat, a larger group of friends or extended family celebrating a special occasion, or hardcore explorers looking for outdoor adventure. Suitable for larger groups/families up to 18 people.
We look forward to welcoming you to Hoe Grange to share our special place.
Hoe Grange Holidays is situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire, between Ashbourne, Bakewell and Matlock; a spectacular and peaceful holiday location.
Approximately 1 hour from Manchester, Birmingham and Nottingham East Midlands Airports, or 1½ hours from London St. Pancras by train.
From Ashbourne take the A515 heading towards Buxton. After several miles turn right onto the B5056 towards Bakewell, Hoe Grange is on this road on the left hand side, exactly 5 miles from this junction. If you reach Longcliffe crossroads you have gone too far. Turn left onto the farm drive and continue straight up into the farmyard (do not turn left).
