We are proud to have a Gold award for Green Tourism!

We have been awarded GOLD for Green Tourism: Being’Green’ isn’t something we do just for tourism, but more the way we live and work in our businesses. As well as self catering we run a hill farm, and the Garden Centre, and do traditional joinery! It is part of our ethos and lifestyle

There is a rare Octagonal walled garden adjacent where you will find Scotland’s leading specialist Garden Plant Centre and beautiful gardens. The Appin area includes the picturesque village of Port Appin and the well photgraphed Castle Stalker. There are opportunities locally for walking, cycling, riding, water sports, fishing, bird watching. Ben Nevis and the mountains of Glencoe are nearby. Fort William and Oban offer holiday shopping, golf, swimming, whisky distilleries and ferry cruises to the islands of Mull, Iona, Staffa and beyond. The cottage is open all year round.
