Polreath is a small and friendly, family-run, 4 star green tourism gold, bed and breakfast, situated in a stunning garden setting on the beautiful island of St. Martin’s. With delicious home-cooking, far-reaching sea views, comfortable bedrooms, and friendly hosts, this is just a taste of what’s to come when you stay at Polreath.

Every morning you can look forward to a hearty breakfast cooked fresh to order and served in our light and airy conservatory. Choose from vanilla infused prune compote with Cornish natural yogurt, porridge with thunder and lightning followed by the full English or maybe just pancakes American style with back bacon and maple syrup!

Three nights a week, Jason produces superb evening meals, offering you the best of home-grown and locally sourced produce. On Friday nights he cooks exclusively for you, usually local fish. Monday night is Curry Night and popular with the locals, Thursday night is the best of traditional British cooking and if you stay with us in April or September, Jason will cook you an evening Sunday roast too. Dine in our light and airy conservatory, al fresco in the garden amongst the tree ferns or in our traditional Scillonian glasshouse under the 100 year old vine, surrounded by banana plants and red hot chilli peppers. As we are licensed, why not enjoy a bottle of local wine or ale with your meal.

Just five minutes walk from Par Beach and Higher Town Quay, Polreath is the ideal base for island exploration.

During the day, our locally renowned Tea Room is open for morning coffee, delicious home-baked cakes, freshly prepared lunches, afternoon cream teas and Moomaid ice cream. A warm welcome awaits you in our conservatory, plantsman’s garden or traditional Scillonian glasshouse. Licensed.

Open Sunday to Friday 10:30 to 16:30 April to September.
