Country Park and activity centre

Wimbleball Lake offers a wide range of activities for all the family. From walking and bird watching to watersports and fishing, we aim to cater for all ages and abilities. There is also a Tea Shop on site offering hot drinks, ice creams, cakes and nibbles to keep you going throughout the day. Set in the heart of rural Somerset, Exmoor National Park provides a stunning backdrop to this lake. Our new family friendly cycle path winds its’ way along the lakeside and through the woodland to the Dam. Keep your eyes peeled for our wild sculptures! There are also 2 new adventure bike tracks for the kids with humps and berms to practise their skills.

Wimbleball is also within Europe’s first Designated Dark Sky Reserve, making it an excellent place for stargazing.

Why not make a weekend of it and take advantage of our campsite facilities which are open from March to November. For more information please contact the Activities Centre on 01398 371460.
