Guest Accommodation in the heart of the Mourne Mountains.

The Mourne Lodge is set in a most scenic and naturally beautiful countryside of the Mourne Mountains. It is approx. a mile and a half from the Silent Valley Reservoir, a famous beauty spot in the Mournes where they sweep down to the sea. It is the perfect location for the hill walker, hiker, mountain biker, climber and the outdoor enthusiast.

The Mourne Lodge has 8 bedrooms offering a choice of accommodation for the family, the individual, the outdoor enthusiast and groups of friends. Single, double, twin, triple, quad, and family/studio rooms are available and all en-suite. The centre was upgraded with new wooden floors, new beds and bedding, and new showers 3 years ago. There is a fully equipped self-catering kitchen for all guests. Breakfasts are available each morning in our restaurant. Other meals should be booked in advance. We have an excellent supermarket next door for all your last minute needs. Kilkeel offers a range of excellent, award winning fish and chip shops. The Mourne Lodge has free Wi-Fi throughout and offers free bike use to guests.

Our comfy lounge has a wood burning stove, a selection of reading material and a large flat screen TV. We also have DVDs which you can hire for a leisurely evening. On a fine summer’s day you can make great use of our patio and barbeque area. The laundry room is available for use at an extra cost plus outside clothes lines. Umbrellas, picnic baskets and chairs are available to hire. For a scenic trip around the mountains you can use the hop on hop off Mourne Rambler bus which visits us daily.
