The Green Business Carbon Tracker helps you calculate your footprint and convert your inputs into CO₂e using UK Government GHG Conversion Factors. It tracks Scope 1 and 2, free to members, with Scope 3 available as an optional upgrade when you’re ready.

The User Guide contains everything you need: set up your account and site(s) (single-site or multi-site), choose your reporting year, enter the data you have and generate a shareable report with totals, Scope breakdown and key metrics.
Reports you can share
Once your data is entered, you can download a Carbon Tracker report designed for external sharing. It shows the reporting period, which site(s) it relates to, what’s included (e.g., energy, refrigerants, travel, waste), and key metrics to support benchmarking over time or between sites. It also includes a Scope 1/2/3 breakdown (including a pie chart and source percentages) to help pinpoint hotspots, plus guidance for using the outputs in RFPs and buyer requests.
What data will I need?
Typical inputs include meter readings and bills, waste reports, refrigeration service logs, travel/transport records, and finance spend data (especially for Scope 3). The tracker guides you step-by-step and you can complete it progressively if you don’t have everything on day one.

Evidence your Green Meetings & Events
Calculate emissions for a one-day or multi-day event and produce a clear report you can share with organisers. Once your tracker is completed, the tool can auto-populate an estimate based on event length and you can refine it with event-specific inputs (e.g., guest travel, goods and services such as AV, food, stationery), with a Scope 1/2/3 split where applicable.
