Bore Place is set in the heart of west Kent, on 500 acres of rolling countryside.
We pride ourselves in being a real-life demonstration of sustainability in action, from our organic produce (which we grow in our market garden) to our renewable energy systems. We offer a variety of accommodation, sleeping groups of 2 to 30 people, including two brand new cottages which we have developed with sustainability at their heart.
Mulberry and Cedar Cottages are now available for small group letting and are both dog friendly. The cottages have a cosy, warm feel and are embellished with tributes to their origins of being a wood workshop– from the woven fencing outside, to the log baskets in the living rooms. These small decisions play their own part in our wider narrative.
Other accommodation includes Bore Place House – sleeping up to 30, The Old Stables – sleeping up to 20 and The Small Barn – sleeping up to 4.
Visitors to Bore Place can enjoy an extensive range of walks right from their doorstep, excellent local cycle routes, the opportunity to buy fresh organic produce on site and experience nature and wildlife in abundance. Our 500-acre estate is managed to encourage biodiversity and is home to a variety of native species including bats, hare, deer, great crested newts and is a fantastic spot for birdwatching as we neighbour Bough Beech Reservoir.
