This awareness day focuses on reducing plastic waste and protecting marine environments. Encourage your community to take part in beach clean-ups, rethink single-use plastics, and support businesses using sustainable alternatives.
TOP TIP: Get your friends, customers and local people together for a beach cleanup. Talking to, and creating events with local people will strengthen your brand and get you talked about.

22nd – 30th November |
European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR)
This Europe-wide campaign focuses on reducing, reusing, and recycling. It’s a great time to share your own waste-reduction initiatives, inspire your audience with upcycling ideas, or highlight how small changes add up to big environmental wins.
TOP TIP: Tell your customers in a series of social media posts what you are doing as a business to reduce waste. This will inspire other businesses to follow your lead and build confidence with your customers.
